Principal's Message

I extend a warm welcome to all on the portals of this grand edifice of learning. It gives me immense pleasure to share that PTMLSD, Gurdaspur has once again maintained its legacy of quality education by getting A Grade in its third cycle (2024) from National Assessment and Accreditation Council, Bangalore. Another achievement of the college is 3- star ranking by Institution's Innovation Council (IIC) from Ministry of Education in 2024. Further we feel elated in mentioning here that our college has been listed in "The Tribune Guide to Best Colleges" edition on 25th April, 2025. These milestones show our strong focus on quality education and holistic development. Our students have produced impeccable results by scoring top positions and distinctions in GNDU exams. They have also performed well and have brought laurels to the college in other fields like sports, inter-college events, national/international competitions and youth festival. The committed and supportive management, dedicated faculty, cooperative parents and responsive students blend harmoniously to create a student-centric institution where success stories are scripted.

S.D. College has established itself as high quality education provider by inculcating holistic learning and imbibing competitive abilities among the students. Proudly, it may be mentioned that during its voyage, PTMLSD has been quenching the thirst for knowledge and elevating the women folk for a dignified life. The humble promise we can make to the public is the promise of keeping up the legacy of quality education to the students who have been entrusted to our care. We wish to correct the shortcomings of the past and try to fare better in the future.
