The Celebration of Patriotic Week is a remarkable event that fostered a sense of patriotism, appreciation for the nation's history and a commitment to preserve the legacy of our freedom fighters. The Patriotic club and Electoral Literacy Club organized remarkable events during the Patriotic Week. The Sociology department and Legal Awareness Club of the college celebrated the 127th Birth anniversary of Neta ji Subhash Chandra Bose in collaboration with the Heritage & History Society, Gurdaspur. Dr. Paramjit Singh Kalsi, Language Officer, graced the event as the Chief Guest. Professor Raj Kumar, the speaker of the day delivered a thought-provoking lecture on Subhash Chandra Bose. The Political Science department and Electoral Literacy club celebrated Voter’s day. MLA Sardar Barindermeet Singh Pahra, graced the occasion as the chief guest. Through engaging Nukkad Natak, they emphasized the responsibility that comes with the right to vote. The History department celebrated the Birth Anniversary of Lala Lajpat Rai. A short documentary film on his life was shown to the audience. An essay writing competition was conducted in which 21 students participated. Continuing with weeklong celebration, the Economics department, NSS club and Patriotic club of the college organized an event to remember Gandhi Ji on his death anniversary.
